can someone explain how to search for a thread you started yourself....sometimes they just disappear and can't be found in Swampgas...where do they go?

Usually in early February every year one of the Administrators will "prune" the old threads off of GC. Most of the time it will be ones that have had no posting in the new year. Those that have showed no recent attention etc.
