Gators lose their heads in the last 2 minutes of another close game against a good opponent.

This moral victory should lock up a Women's NIT bid

I would love to see butlers record in close games at UF. Actually never mind I don't want to know

Well, technically we need 1 more win to be eligible with a .500 or better overall record.
But, to your point, yeah.

I don't understand some of her choices of who is on the court in late game situations. I hate how a visiting team comes to our court and get all the calls(Uga, tenn, USC). I am hate the fact we don't have a point guard who can handle the ball properly. Hopefully next year with the additions we can turn the cornner.

I really don't see how UF womens' ball is ever going to win a championship. IMO its not like mens BB where there is relative parity. You seem to have a few elite universities that have a chance to win it every year, then everyone else who needs a miracle

We aren't even worried about winning a championship right now, just them being a consistent NCAA tournament team would be good enough for us.

Believe it or not, I just took a look at games decided by 3 points or less, or in OT and she is 12-11 since 2007 ( I did it quickly so may have missed a game or two).
The previous seasons are out on Gatorzone if anyone wants to expand that out to 4 or 5 point losses (a game like today wouldn't have made this stat), but the reason it feels so bad right now is that in the last 3 years we are 4-8.
2007-2008 − 3-1
2008-2009 − 1-0
2009-2010 − 4-2
2010-2011 − 3-4
2011-2012 − 0-3
2012-2013 − 1-1

Moral victory... sweet.I think we lead the country is those. Don't you need to have a over 500 season to get invited even to the NIT. We are what 15-10 with 5 games to go and I don't see a victory in any of them except for moral victories. I guess if we can win one a be at 16-15 we could go. Post season of any kind would help this young team with experience.

I believe we are the one of the five least experienced teams in the country. Young teams usually lose close games.
