UF has to do a much better job of coaching and executing to score runs especially with the line-up we have. The Powers strikeout with runners on first and third, the Scully decision to hit with Dent with runners on the corner ending up in a double play, inability to scorte with runners on the corner and less than two outs. This team has to make every opportunity count. Yes, it is early in the season but this team has limited offensive talent so scoring runs is going to be at a premium.

Agree on good win but lets face it, seven errors in a baseball game at this level is wa to much so that has to get better for both teams.

Better job of coaching? Not sure what the staff could have done differently today. Yes, Powers struck out with runners on first and third but with two outs, what else could Sully have done? Plus, you are incorrect as Sully's decision to let Dent hit resulted in Cody hitting a sac fly to drive in a crucial run.

You are definitely correct in that UF will struggle to score runs all season. But, there is only so much a coach can do to overcome that and thankfully today, the two FR pitchers, plus Magliozzi, threw the ball well.

3 errors on gushue - 2 on the throws to 2nd: you know he's going to get challenged alot now. so he and martin/turgeon need to work on that throw (not all on taylor as one time the infielders didn't get over in time - throw was 'there', but they weren't per the radio announcers).
