Dorsey has been to 1 or 2 FNL's and has camped here a few times other than that. Coaches told him at last FNL that if he progressed and showed them improvement that he would get an offer at the next FNL...
Well, offer came a little early, so I guess the coaches liked what they saw.
I knew this kid would be a Gator eventually. He's a big fan, lives in our backyard, and now that he's on, there's very little chance that he parts ways with us. This one is sticking like glue.
He's a 3 star, (i think the other OL we got is a 3 star too) but don't let that sway you, he has size and we need more inside OL. He is a shoe-in.
Knox, I believe will play inside. BUt he can also play OT if we absolutely needed him too, we have 3 inside OL gone after this season, makes since that we would put Knox somewhere in the middle. I don't know much about Knox, however, his commitment kinda came out of nowhere.
I have read around that some of our fans are unhappy that we are going after 3 stars instead of the big prizes... but we completely filled out OT targets with the last class (on top of DJ Humphries)... It's nice to have these 2 guys on board because I don't think there's much of a chance that they would scare off other, bigger targets.
I still see us trying to recruit top-target inside OL guys like Mason Cole, Corey Martinez, etc.
Denzel Ward, I believe is the big-time OT of this 2014 class. Jamarco Jones is another stellar OT on our radar.
I think we'll pull Ward + 3-4 inside OLinemen.

Yeah maybe you can start the thread now so we don't have to read it next year

where do you get we got all OT' targets last cycle? We got OJ and Dillard both guys are going inside.
You know Corey Martinez doesn't have an offer yet ?
And why do you think Knox is going inside?

The folks who worry so much about the stars are cranks I think. I thiink the stars are relative anyway, but it doesn't matter. I LOVE the tracks BOOM has us on and its obvious the man KNOWS talent. If I were a running back, QB, Receiver, etc. I would LOVE to play for the BOOM cause he knows it all depends on those big boys in the front and its more about attitude. Those big guys allow it all to go. Its hard to argue with the success. I won't say he's always right, but who is. But the man can recruit and can coach like crazy! Let him and be happy!

GatorCountry is the best Gator Sports board, and also the most conservative.
