Love Ducatis. Are there any Americans in WSBK? If so, how are they doing?

Nice! I'll cheer for him. Solid truck and team there. For many years, the trucks were absolutely the best event of Speedweeks. I saw Bodine's scary wreck right in front of me. Saw Rick Crawford win on the last lap in 2003, one of the best finishes I've ever seen anywhere. I saw Mark Martin finally win here, in a truck. My girlfriend knows Timothy Peters well, he is a good driver and deserves a ride. He has a new baby to feed.

John Hopkins campaigned the 2012 season. Last year he finished in 19th, but he's been battling injuries his whole life. He's taking a sabbatical this year to make a full recovery.
There are more Americans in MotoGP actually. Nicky Hayden, Colin Edwards, and Ben Spies

It would be a travesty, it would be ridiculous to all of a sudden come back and get the feeling back, get the health back, feel good again and then all of a sudden go throw some other colors on my shirt and go coach. I don't want to do that. I have too much love for this University and these players and for what we've built." - Urban Liar

Speed, if you know anybody at NASCAR with some real pull, please tell them to do something about their website. The new look is an absolute abortion and in no way is it any improvement over previous iterations of the site. If you think this is just my opinion, just go to the web site and go down to the comments on the front page. They are all in agreement about just how bad a mess they made this year. As an indicator of how bad it is, one day after that race last night, see how long it takes you to find the full results of the race.

I have not even looked, but I'll check it out. I use www.Jayski.com for Nascar news. I called Daytona about their (new) track website because I was hunting for supercross ticket info. She asked my opinion of the changes because the brass told them to note callers requests. They already know they screwed up with the changes they made. I informed her the tab/page on the Daytona site for track news was gone. Pretty bad to have nothing there about the Rolex 24 a week after the race.
Did I just hear Danica won the 500 pole? I was camping this weekend and just got home.

Kyle Larson was 2nd in the ARCA race Sat at D.I.S., then won Sunday night in a pavement USAC midget at New Smyrna, then caught a lot of flak for his last lap win Monday in Battle at the Beach, then was 2nd in the Modified when he missed a shift on a restart and got wrecked. It was his first New England Mod race I think. He was top 5 in the K&N Pro series until a late skirmish, still finished 10th.
That's 5 different series races in 4 days for the kid. Whew!

Yeah, but when you're real young you can do anything! You just go and do it and and not think about it!

For those interested, we have finally completed the 2013 Sprint Cup Schedule and brief bios of the NASCAR drivers. It's a sticky at the top. Looks like Speedofsand approves. He hasn't said otherwise and we all know he has tough NASCAR standards.

Heck of a race last night. Florida's Ross Chastain did a good job, Gatoragman. I saw before the race he had TJ Majors spotting. I was also pulling for Timothy Peters and Jeb Burton because my girl knows them well. Ross and Timothy ran together a lot. I'm glad Sauter won and Ahole Busch didn't.

Funny article in yesterday's USA Today on NASCAR drivers and their take on fitness. Most of the drivers are fitness buffs, these days, and staunchly maintain it enhances their driving performance. But Tony Stewart said, "it's not like you have to get out of the car and push the damn thing."
