UF went up there two years ago and played down to AU. Let's hope we can avoid that this year and they do not have their game of the season.

If AU plays like they did at UK last week, we can expect a physical/chippy game. Patric Young won't like the unnecessary grabbing, bumping, and pushing. He'll need to keep his cool.
I just hope we can get out of there with a win and without any injuries.

They took the air out of the ball that night. They literally held on to the ball and didn't initiate any offense until there was :10 left on the shot clock.
They packed in the zone on us and gave us open threes, but CP, Boynton and Walker were cold.
I agree that strategy wouldn't work against this team, because we have multiple scoring threats from the outside now. In 2011, our two guards were all we had from the outside.

Chubb is a goon. He is just there to take up space, hack away and hope to avoid picking up fouls until later in the game. I agree that Patric has to keep him from pushing his buttons, because he will surely try to do that.

I like the point spread but I suspect unless it becomes a foul shooting contest down the stretch, subtract 10 from both teams score.

Curiously, both Auburn and Alabama have played a lot of close games this year. Rather interesting that Ky beat them solidly.
Unfortunately for Auburn, the wins/losses in BB relative to Bama are quite similar to those of their football team the past two years.
Whereas Bama has managed to win a fair number of their close games, at least in the SEC, Auburn has, unfortunately for them, lost most.
The Gators should win fairly easily, but then, one could also say that about the recent trip to Arkansas.
Hopefully the team is not looking ahead to Missou, but this veteran laden team is less likely to make such mistakes as a younger one.

Need to jump out to a big lead in the first half. I see us being up by 25 at halftime and winning by about the same margin.
Would love to rest some starters for like the last five minutes of this game. We have a big one coming up on Tuesday.

I agree with Jay Bilas, the refs have to get control of these games and stop allowing all the aggressive defense without calling fouls. The coaches are teaching fouling as good defense because they know it doesnt get called. There are going to be more fights if they dont.

I'm in favor of aggressive defense in regards to establishing your position in the low post by using your body and feet. Grabbing and throwing people out of the way and using your elbows should be called every time.
I know that less than elite athletes, like the guy who plays for tomorrow's opponent, have no choice but to use those tactics in order to play defense. In my opinion, if you lack physical talent, then you have to out work and out think your opponent and get your edge that way.

This is why Pat Young often look so bad against teams without a real center. The refs let the little guys get away with murder guarding him

I agree with this and I believe it also has the added benefit for the other team of Patric losing is focus at times. He seems to get caught up in what others are doing to him instead of concentrating on his game.

Both AU centers fouled out at UK. The refs called the fouls, but that didn't stop AU from playing chippy. I hope Billy D has the team prepared for a physical grind it out game.

You're right about Chubb.
