I agree with that. And who knows, he could be a 5 star by the time he's a Gator!

Haha, now you're going to have Joe Schmoe recruits flooding the address at the bottom of the form with fake paperwork.

If we had a Sumlin offensive mind a 3 star would be awesome, we have a brilliant defensive mind nothing we have seen on the field shows our offensive coaching to be even average much less good.

No doubt he's done a a very good job at Texas A&M. Pease will be in his 2nd year in 2014 with UF and I think we'll see good play by our QBs this Fall.

I know it's just highlights but he looks to have a much better feel for the game than Jeff does, while his physical talent is obviously nowhere near Driskel's I think depending on how this year plays out we might have an open competition for QB on 2014- Jeff's limitations are mental things and I don't know how much of that is fixable vs. how much is just innate: things like feel and touch can improve certainly but Jeff has always seemed more like an athlete than a QB to me- he reminds me a lot of Vince Young, who also struggled at times early in his career before his coaches just gave up and let him run his own offense (I do think there's a chance Boom does this if we struggle offensively again early this year- he might do what one of his mentor's did in Austin and just let Jeff be Jeff).
You have to admit that Grier looks a lot more natural making progressions as a Jr. than Jeff did as a college sophomore last season.

Yes. Physicality has nothing to do with it (to an extent). He is the QB of the future (hopefully), having him come in early lets him do A LOT of reading.
He probably won't play much his first season... like, maybe games where we blow out lesser teams by the half... other than that, he should be a ghost his freshman year.
Next summer should be interesting... It's going to be Grier vs. the other QB's we got the last couple of years + whoever we decide to recruit for 2015... Next summer is when things start to really matter and change.
This year though, Jeff Driskel won't be unseated... unless he blows it big time, even then, highly unlikely.
