Let's stop the overrated Va Tech CHokie bandwagon before it starts. The sports media will pump them up again this year and by 11/2/13 the thought will be that will be a tough game for SOW.
Don't count on it. The next big game the CHokies win will be the first big game the CHokies win.

They'll lose a game or two where they're favored by 14. Jimbo is Zook's equivalent, their paper schedule will never match up. Problem is one day they'll get a good coach like Ohio State has.

I'm calling 5 losses next year for the Noles. The 5th may be in the bowl game but they'll lose 5.

I think they lose to Miami, Clemson, and UF. Have no idea about the rest of those teams they play.

We said at the beginning of last season that FSU had a legit chance to go undefeated if they could just beat us. They had a senior QB, a very experienced team across the board and still managed 2 losses.
They'll find a way to blow it. They always do. But ... on the off chance they went undefeated (and I mean very off), we can all enjoy the monstrous beat-down they'll experience at the hands of an SEC team.

I don't think you guys are being entirely fair to F$U here.
I mean, you can't really rag on their OOC sched when Wofford, Nevada and Idaho are tougher than at least half of their conference games. That's equivalent to us playing Oregon, Stanford and Oklahoma OOC...

Trickett apparently is the leading contender but from what I've read it isn't exactly his job to lose, he's just the favorite right now based on his experience. They have two other candidates, Coker and Winston, both of whom are freshmen (not sure whether red shirts or not). Trickett and Coker are pocket passers, Winston is more of a dual threat in the mold of E.J. Manuel (we can only hope). Gray might chime in here, I'm sure he knows more than I do.

I think Coker was already RS'ed and actually played some mop-up early part of this past season. I could be mistaken about that or mixi8ng him up with their spring game. I think he shoul be a sophomore next season. Winston was RS'ed I believe.

They're not beating Clemmons @ Clemmons, which is a couple of weeks before they visit Gainesville.

Agreed, with everyone offensively and defensively that Florida St is losing, they will get exposed first by a talented and young Clemson D, and an already outstanding offense. Sorry for those who think were going to burst their bubble again, for it will already be burst by 4 teams next year I say. Miami, Va Tech, Clemson, Florida... And I have to put NC State in there possibly too.

They lost too much to graduation and the NFL draft. Their D-line will still be solid, but won't have the depth it had this year. Their O-line will be putrid, they lost their best CB and also their All-American kicker. Add to that either a brand new QB or one that couldn't beat out EJ, a brand new staff that will probably suck as bad or worse than the prior, and just the overall fact they have a propensity to lose games they shouldn't and….bam….there's your 5 losses.

Miami will not be a cupcake game nor will Toledo. In 2012 we played four or five teams in the top ten (A&M, uga,LSU,usce & (?)) so we don't need to apologize to anyone. half-ass-u has generally played a weak enough schedule to rest players and get ready for us while we generally don't have that option.

Graduation? That's funny.
Don't you mean parole?
