FSU 2013 Football Schedule
I am a Tallahassee Gator. For YEARS I have heard how FSU will play "anyone, anywhere"...and how UF has not played an "out of conference road game outside of the State of Florida." I know they went to Oklahoma...and BYU, Colorado (jokes). How PATHETIC is this schedule?
8/31 Wofford
9/7 at Boston College
9/14 Maryland
9/21 Nevada
9/28 at Wake Forest
10/5 NC State
10/19 Miami
10/26 at Syracuse
11/2 Virginia Tech
11/16 at Clemson
11/23 Idaho
11/30 at Florida

Wow, that's about as bad as it gets. That's absoultely pathetic. At least Dumbo will be able to claim another 10 win season even when it ends in an ass whooping by a battle hardened UF team. To be fair, FSU USED to be, "play anyone anywhere" but that was a LOOOONG time ago and that program is absolutely dismal these days.
There is nothing fair in FSU playing 3 tough games all season. If they're ranked in the top 5-10 in the preseason (which the voters usually do) it's virtually impossible for them to drop too far once they do lose.

I could see three losses on that schedule. Best shot for them to lose is at Florida and at clemson. Third would be Virginia tech.

Where did you get this? The ACC has yet to announce the official football schedule for 2013. Also, there is talk that FSU will play at Pitt on Labor day night.
http://www.fbschedules.com/2013/02/f...-on-labor-day/
That schedule might not be correct.

If I were writing it I'd substitute "another cupcake" for every "tba" except us, Clemson, and maybe VTech.

I got it from another thread. Pitt would be a conference game, right? My point is that they aren't playing an OOC game outside the State and the ones they are playing are pathetic. This is what they have criticized UF for over the last 20 years!

Our's is actually a break from the usual brutal, back-breaking schedule though, but that schedule there for FSU is just plain embarrassing.
Watch them win those first five games and then start talking NC again.

Just like last year, they cannot afford to lose a single game in a schedule that weak though. If they start out top 10 and lose against just one team in the first 7 or 8 games of that pathetic schedule, they'll never be in the top 10 again that season.

I think the point is coupled with their conference schedule they literally play no on until our game. While our out of conference leaves much to be desired our in conference tends to even that out

Toledo was a top 25 team mid-to-late season last year. They aren't great, but they aren't the usual fodder either.
scUm has many people on this board worried.
