Default Recruit Survey

ESPN's Wolverine Nation did a post NSD survey on Meatchciken recruits: http://espn.go.com/colleges/michigan...mmits-surveyed

Has anyone seen one of these, or similar, for Gator commits or other SEC team commits? It would be interesting to look at the responses.

Granted the n is low, especially due to the distance, and lack of commonality between targeted recruits, but I did find it interesting that Saban was the coach that most impressed the recruits with 2 responses (other than Hoke I would assume), while Muschamp actually showed up once as most impressive coach (Fisher seems to have missed the cut) tying with Meyer. With the number of targets in common, I'm surprised that Meyer didn't garner that title outright, and by a wide margin...

Anyway, it would be nice to understand why recruits signed with us, and more importantly, why the ones we targeted didn't sign with us.

Thoughts?

Not to change this into a uni-thread, but this confirms what I was thinking...the recruits want new/different jersey combos, regardless of what we as fans think...and this coming from probably the most traditionally popular jersey/helmet combo team in Michigan.

From the survey...
9) Do you like how many jersey changes Michigan has had over the past two seasons?

Yes -- 17
No -- 1
Don't care -- 5

Roll that into the recruiting process for high value recruits: Sign on the dotted line and you get to choose the uni combo (among pre-approved choices) for a game.

We need to know how many UM commits toured each of those facilities, and more importantly, how many toured ours.

We're not on that list because we don't have an indoor practice facility. Yep, I went there!

Hah!!!

Actually, regarding almost anything of complexity, it is just about impossible to get an unbiased analysis for a massive variety of reasons, including, but not limited to quantum entanglement, clouds of virtual photons, the influence of dark matter/dark energy, the necessary breakdown of complex analyses (Goedel), the fact that although Fractal Geometry (e.g. Mandelbrot) does reflect the world, and although it is relatively consistent, it is, as Heisenberg showed, not predictable.

Those who foolishly continue to adhere to a Newtonian Perspective on things continue to believe things that simply are not true.

However, the inherent Biases in this are so exceedingly violent, literally to the point of ultimate invalidity and meaninglessness, that it is worthy to note them, as you did.

Don't recall it being presented as such, either by the authors or the OP (me).

I don't think we could ever make it scientific either, we're talking teenage minds after all, but it MAY be interesting to see if there are any trends in the SEC generally, and with our targets specifically.
