You're welcome! Ray in Swamp Gas likes those pics in his threads so I help him out during football season as well. It gives people a visual and what it might feel like to be there in attendance.

Boy I didn't think UF played a particularly good game. UF left way to many guys open at the arc and let bigs roll to the hoop for dunks way to much in the second half. Offensively, Rosario and Boynton did not shoot well and Murphy was on the bench for much of the game. Also UF did not get its usual contribution from Frazier.
My view is that it was another solid effort, but hardly UF most complete game or UF best all season. I am not sure UK is that good. I would go for Missouri or Marquete as the most complete game UF has played all season.

Great pics! really tells the story. basketball is really a contact sport!
tells the side story too - the interplay of the players and coaches. good stuff!
love the photodocumentation of the rowdies too! rowdies do make the game experience in the o'dome nothing short of special! especially for a big game.
cracked up when they slipped the big rosario head behind dickie V during the tv pre-game coverage. classic stuff!

On TV we got to see pics of Dickie V's early years. You talk about nerd. Coaching at Detroit Univ.? Now that is a job I am sure everyone wanted. LOL
Overall, Dickie likes the Gators. Next year with the stars we have coming in he will be touting us all year. He likes elite players, elite teams like ours are fun but his focus is on the next NBA millionaire.

It was a great environment last night; both from the team & fans.
The Noel injury pretty much killed the mood in our section. Someone in our section said his knee was at a vertical 90 degree angle- I have never seen that.
Best of luck, kido!

I didn't get to watch the game (cub scout meeting), but I've read a few articles. This one seems to say had Noel not gotten hurt, Kentucky might have made the game interesting.

The play on which he was injured, as Kentucky was mounting a comeback in the second half of what ended up as a 69-52 Florida win, was vintage Noel, the reason NBA teams are ready to toss millions his way. On a fast break by Florida’s Mike Rosario, Noel hustled down the court, swatted the ball away with his left hand, added to his NCAA-leading total of 106 blocks — then collided with the basket support, twisted his knee sideways at a nearly 90-degree angle and lay on the floor screaming. Seeing Noel being helped off the floor by two teammates, we couldn’t help but wonder if the 18-year-old phenom’s NBA future was in jeopardy.

Did it seem like Kentucky was mounting a comeback or is this guy a Kentucky homer?

they were on a 5-0 run, but then rosario cut off the pass and took it to the rim (and got blocked). we score on that possession and the game is back to 12 pt lead. we don't and UK scores, the lead would have been down to single digits. games under go alot of ebb and flo. that steal by MR may have sparked another run by UF, who knows?

Well I mean they were on a little run getting a little momentum. I don't think I'd call it mounting a comeback. I think we would have had to completely collapse to lose the game.
