I feel bad for the guy that he tore his ACL, but, on the bright side, ACL's are very common nowadays. This shouldn't effect his draft stock too terribly much.
In many ways, a patella rupture or some of the other things that were speculated could have been much, much worse.
Best of luck to him. It's a shame.

Best of luck to him and sending him best wishes for an excellent recovery.
I wonder if he'll end up with Dr. Pete? That is where I would go if I needed this surgery.

Uh, no. I would go to Dr. James Andrews in B'ham. Just did RGIII's knee.

Agreed. He's the guy nowadays. Did he do Peterson's too?

He did Peterson's knee, Jack Nicklaus's, Emmitt Smith's, Troy Aikman's and Marcus Lattimore's among others. Was an SEC championship pole vaulter at LSU also.

Nowadays, he often works out of Gulf Breeze, south of Pensacola. That is where he rebuilt RGIII's knee.

According to a couple different draft "experts", this won't radically alter his draft position. One still has him as first overall, the other says top 3 and another says top 5.
