Was taking Young a better choice then saving the ship for next year when we will not have many to give?

I do not believe in saving scholarships and I dont think the staff does either. If a few things bounce our way on signing day we would have been at 85. I would rather have him on campus learning from college coaches and in a great S & C program then hoping we find a kid better the next year in high school.

I'd bet we have room for 25 when all is said and done.

Somewhere close to that number. With a few EE's dashed in.
With how many DLinemen this staff has taken thus far, I am curious to see if they will ever bring in a class with 5 or fewer. I am betting not for awhile.
Ideally, what we need for the DL is 2 DT's, 2 SSDE's, 1 Buck and 1 DL (Could go anywhere, but I would bet another DE).

It will not be a good thing if we are able to take 25 kids next year right now we have 12 or 13 spots available

I was thinking somewhere around 20-22 spots next year.
4 OL, 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 TE, 3 WR
5 DL, 2 LB, 3 DB
= 20 Spots

I had 22 in my mock but that is probably still too much. It would be nice if we can have a class of 20 or fewer and still hit the 85 limit

Only taking 1 RB in this class will work in our favor with guys like Sony Michel and Jalen Hurd. There's no real need for us to want more than that, imho. Our stable is looking pretty good at this point.

I would try and take 2. While UGA is chasing Sony hopefully we can get Adam Choice then fight for Hurd until he decides.

You don't believe there are quite a few players that could want to transfer to find PT?

Feel we still need two. Right now we really don't have a stable. Three RB(two true FR) is thin imo.

I say bring on the direct conflict in recruiting with REFsu. It's the only way we can completely crush them when NSD is done and the ink is drying.
Crush them into irrelevance and get 100% dominance secured.
Their only selling point will be the illusion of playing time after their squad proves it can't play with even ACC opponents. I am not convinced their new D coordinator can do anything for them, they start a new QB, and their is simply no way their schedule can be as easy as it was last year.

Yeah, I know. How high is he on the board? Probably not over by a long shot anyway. Still good to see the noles get pissed.
You upset because your mock class is already falling apart?

could careless about the Mock he is really high on Florida's board he was supposed to visit a few weeks back. Kentucky might be taking his brother who is supposedly not very good. Ware's recruitment is far from over.

Ware's recruitment just started. From the looks of things, we know he likes to commit to more than 1 school. His recruitment is nowhere close to done.
I still think UF lands him in the end... unless hhis brother is the issue, in which case, we just don't have the room. But this is the type of commit that see his recruitment heat up over the summer and ultimately next winter...

I'm not buying it. What evidence is there that a guy called 'D.Ware' could make it on a football team anyway...
