I have found, over the decades... that trying to talk... logically to a Nole fan is near impossible!
Now, I have had football conversations with Georgia fans, Auburn fans and EVEN Alabama fans. They don't like to man up and admit that a certain play was this or that. But... they will eventually man up and say, "Yea, you're right about that."

When it comes to FSU fans... they are in total denial!
I don't waste my time talking to them anymore.

I used to think that it was just Nolies not wanting to ever rise up to a Gator Fan... but even when other fans from other schools are involved in the same conversation pointing out the same things... they will not admit it.
It's like they are zombies.

Alabama fans come close to this level... but not quite. They feel like they walk on water and that their team is the next thing to the Imaculate Conception.
Volunteer fans, as we all know... get this way too. I don't know what it is... maybe something in the water in the Holston River in eastern Tennessee.
And I use the word, "they" for FSU fans... because this has happened on numerous occassions with several FSU fans.

I must admit than in over 40 years of watching Florida-FSU football...that I knew ONE man (FSU fan) who I could sit down with and we could talk, logically together.
He respected my fanship to Florida and I truly respected his fanship to FSU.
He and his wife loved FSU but we both had the ability to actually admit when FSU or... Florida screwed up.

One thing lost in this discussion was how one-sided the refs were for FSU. Phantom holds on UF, the crazy PI, and the lack of helmet-to-helmet called on FSU on the Karlos Williams hit on the KO.

If the refs had not been so blatantly biased we would have won by a bigger amount. It was similiar to the 03 Swindle, but because the PI was so obvious that even the pro FSU announcers pointed it out, the bad calls stopped (unlike the 03 Swindle.) If we had lost this board would still be on meltdown over the bad calls but since we won we tend to overlook them- but it was bad.

So yes FSU did commit 5 TOs, and yes they were ahead in the 4th- but this happened ONLY because the ACC refs did all they could to win the game for them.

They won't have that advantage next year.

Any contact the helmet *may* have had was completely unintentional. There is NO angle that shows that as a helmet to helmet, he clearly led with the shoulder. Thanks for the support, but there's is a lot of us up here who have to deal with these irrational delusinoles. What's funny about Ash, is that during the season, he was participating in the official game threads evety weeked, even during the UF - FSU game, and obviously does not even attend FSU games. At least I was at the UF - FSU game last season. Where was Ash? In the GC OGT (official game thread) b*tching about how Manuel cost them the game! lol

I'll tell you what though, all of us Gators up here behind enemy lines are still celebrating this win over FSU, because the last two years were absolutely unbearable listening to these low-rent, no-class, UF-obsessed FSU fans.

UF is an "inferior" team, yet had a better season against the toughest schedule in the country, but they are still an "inferior" team. LOL

112 yards of penalties against UF before FSU was hit with even one? FSU's 20 yards of penalties all came in the last minutes of this game when it was already settled. The ACC refs tried their best to protect FSU and they couldn't do it this time.
