Beyonce's Super Bowl performance. Misplaced my remote Glad I've got good beer. Great voice. Nothing else. Whatever happened to just having 15 minutes? Please, someone make her go away, forever.
Would love to see Adam Beyer play at a venue like that...dear mother of god it must be incredible. That's just one hour of a 6 hour set where he bangs out a diverse, dynamic set full of bangers and grooves.
Here's a nice one off my favorite live album of all time. Piano like a crystal waterfall and some of the most understated, in-the-pocket and grooving rhythm section playing I've ever heard. One of those performances where God was listening, IMO.
building a nice playlist on the phone for my increasing walks. i try to walk a mile at lunch every day, there's a nice walking park across from the hospital where i work, a 'wellness park'. anyhow, it's an enjoyable mile, even more so the longer and wider varied my playlist gets. i'm pulling things out of my past, throwing them with newer stuff, but always upbeat, to keep me walking. great motivator.

Calexico Radio streaming on Pandora. Some really cool stuff comes up.
Was just listening to Calexico to get myself to sleep last night after a stressful day. Must have worked. Slept late and ran the battery out on the iPod. Only remember the first two or three songs.
i use sade to get myself to sleep, her later albums. i have to play music, soft, slower jams to get rid of the loud fast stuff i listen to all day!!!! i think they call that 'earworms' when you get songs stuck in your head that keeps you awake, lol

Omg I feel for you! The worst case of an ear worm I had was in the 90s, I worked at a dr's office and the staff had on a top forty channel and there was this song, cannot remember the name Cuz I hated it, but the chorus was "how bizarre how bizarre" it was awful!!

You can have that ear worm back by hitting the link.
You know what's funny is many young 20-something yr old hipster sorts have now gravitated toward all the lame, cheesy pop music of the 80's. Huey Lewis and The News, Wang Chung and A-Ha are examples. Sort of in that ironic = cool way. Looking back, I am grateful that radio was so bad in the 80's because it caused me to seek the underground/alternative scene. Thank God for SST and IRS music labels.
