I've always thought Rix himself was gay and was surprised to see him wearing a wedding ring this past season when he was announcing a game. Probably just covering up some more by throwing Dockett under the bus.

Wow--I can't believe someone would 'out' a fellow player like that. I know of a football team that took turns in their dorm rooms with a gay guy they sorta passed around. And not just any football team, they won titles. I think this may be a bit more common than we know, but someone should tell Rix that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. I always suspect Chris of being light in the cleats, but I wonder if this is a diversionary tactic?

Was this a football team or the show OZ. Goodness gracious, I've heard of a lot of f-ed up stuff happening on teams, but that takes the cake.
Mods can delete if they want, but someone on the Insider forum mentioned that Rix' dad as a chronic alchoholic and that many of the "incidents" involving him being a dumbass were after long nights dealing with drama back home (west coast).
Just saying. If true, it really changes the impression I had of him. I've lived with an alchoholic before and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Can't imagine if it was my dad (and the effects it would certainly have on my mom, siblings, etc.).

That would be sad if it were the case. Hope not, but it could explain a lot of things about the guy.
