Cheyenne Coyle already has 5 HR's for Arizona St.
Just saw her stats and she already has 5 hr's in her first 19 at bats for ASU. Wished she was still here playing for the Gators.

Given the drama and chaos she and the others caused last season I honestly could care less what she is doing right now. She is gone by her own doing and it is done - time to move on and look forword to what this group can do this year.

She got a release, as did the Fagan's. but Cheyenne did not transfer to am SEC school so she did not have to sit out a year.
All 3 have moved on. So has the Gator program and so should the fans. We are just fine with the TEAM we have. Those who care about one another and want to be here and couldn't care less about individual accolades, attention and being stars.

If we had her back, we would not have the rest of the team we have. Support THIS team.

All the current freshman would still be here as they were signed prior to all the stuff at the end of last year. I guess Tofft, the transfer, would be the only one not here. But, I get your sentiment.

I thought the Fagan sisters transfered to two differrent non-sec teams and they are sitting out a season (I think I read somewhere). I do not understand why Coyle can play? There are no releases except for hardship which is given by the NCAA. Anybody?

The Fagans are now at Missouri and Arkansas. They have to sit a year for inner-conference transfers. There is no such rule for transferring to a different conference (in softball.) That's my understanding, anyway.

Sitting out a year for D-1 Transfers that are done for football and basketball does not apply to all sports.

Meanwhile, we're chugging right along after this weekend's tournament. 5-0 and three of those were top 10 teams. Freshman playing great. Can't wait for this weekend's tourney in g ville.

On a semi related note, how about Haeger not pitching? All I read was Rodgers and Bache. Did i miss something or is she just a clean up hitter/ 1b?

She started two of the five games. Has pitched 9 innings. Bache has pitched 8. Hannah has pitched 16. Very balanced time in the circle for our 3 member pitching staff.

Whoa! I'd obviously not paid enough attention thus far this year. Didn't realize we were working with a three-pitcher rotation and with productivity as balanced as this already. Thats really impressive. I've always been concerned that teams over-work softball pitchers so incredibly. Some teams seem to go to the top with one incredible pitcher by using them all the time, which I never felt was good for anyone involved. It was just a concern. REALLY glad to hear this. Thank.s

I was actually shocked she wasn't in the lineup as a hitter full time. With so much hitting lost from the roster I assumed she would be locked into the 3/4 hole every game, but sat out some. Coach really used everyone on the roster.

Castro is capable of going yard every time up. Her hands are fast as well as strong.

did a tremendous job of shuffling players around. everyone on the roster saw action this past weekend. i would imagine more of the same this coming weekend in g'ville. what a tremendous start to the season. i did not see this coming at all.
