I can't wait for them to come out. I'm not too thrilled with the back especially the tail lights.

Oh yeah... and by the way of good luck... He gets to negotiate for a new contract right after guiding his team to the SB and winning SB MVP. The Ravens will have to give him a boatload of cash to keep him. Good timing Joe.

Bianchi reported today that Flacco violated NFL rules by impregnating the woman he's married to.

Fair play to him, he had a great playoffs.
But I'm not convinced, sorry. Baltimore will now throw a boatload of cash at him because he timed his rise to perfection. I'm just not sold that he's amongst the best QBs in the league in the way he's about to get paid, it would seem. I can arguably think of half a dozen I'd take ahead of him... (Brady, Brees, Manning, Rodgers, and maybe Ryan, as well as Luck/Griffin if they continue their trajectory...) but I believe he's going to get his pay, and then masterfully underperform on his new deal.

Amazing that there are still Flacco-skeptics out there. But then I guess there are still guys who do Pilates.

Skeptical of what?
Nobody can be a skeptic about what he accomplished. I tip my hat to him fairly and squarely. He was outstanding in the playoffs.
Skeptical about the longer term though? Absolutely. It seems barely 12 months since Eli Manning was the toast of the day. I just have a gut feeling that says we will fast forward 12 months from now and see JF in the same situation. Sadly though, he's going to have a crushing contract to go with it. Just a feeling. But nobody can take his ring away!
I don't do Pilates either

Sure, if you can harbor this sort of skepticism about ANY quarterback, why pick on Flacco ?
Relieved about the Pilates, though.

He got hot and played great through the playoffs and on to the SB. I would not want to be the one who had to take a chance on giving him his new contract. However, I believe he has some pretty good seasons ahead of him.

QB contracts getting unreal. Less than ten years ago, Brett Favre was the highest paid QB and was making under $10 million. Then the Colts agreed to give Peyton $14 million/year. Now Brees is getting $20 million a year and Flacco says he wants more than Brees.
If the cap is at $121 million next year, that means you're committing almost 17% of your cap room to one player.

WOW!
Report: Flacco, Ravens agree to six-year, $120.6 million contract
"Joe Flacco, who led the Baltimore Ravens to a Super Bowl win last month, has agreed to a new six-year, $120.6 million contract with the team, making him the highest paid player in the NFL, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported. Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer was first to report the news Friday.
Flacco's deal gives him an average of $20.1 million per season, or $100,000 more than the average annual value of New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees, who signed a five-year, $100 million deal last July.
Flacco, when reportedly reached by NFL.com writer Jason LaCanfora, said he has not been in contact with his agent, Joe Linta, on Friday and is unsure if the deal is done.
However, NFL reporter Adam Kaplan tweeted that he was able to reach Linta, who told him: "While I was in flight earlier today, the Ravens verbally agreed to all of our terms. However, Joe and I have not received the contract back to review. Once we get the contract and review it (assuming there are no issues), Joe will sign it."

First thing I'd do is sell that Corvette and put the money towards a real car.

I've piled on Flacco once already in the thread so I'm reluctant to do it again... but the HIGHEST paid NFLer? I honestly felt he was not going to live up to the likely bumper contract he'd get but that's utterly absurd. It's going to be almost impossible to live up to it unless he wins 3 Superbowls in a row...
I wonder if his agent outsources? My performance management is coming up at work...
