what's up with the UK worry?
I've watched a few games of theirs this year. What's with all of the talk of a hopeful split garbage? This is a middle of the road SEC team. No reason we can't do to them what we're doing to moo st right now.
UF sweeps the kittens by a 12pt avg.
Truth.

Our lack of depth inside probably has something to do with it...

Still see Kentucky winning the SEC. The are getting better and better, all those diaper dandies are starting to play together now. Do not see UF beating Kentucky especially up at Lexington. If we do not beat them here, we will be the ones most likely getting swept.

Yeah, they looked so threatening today, beating Auburn by 10 at home.

You guys are overreacting to your recent loss and an injury. Not sucking up here (I want UK to sweep every year...) but I think UK would be lucky to split this year. We are a very inconsistent team and still don't have a quality win. Ole Miss sucks if you guys haven't noticed. I think UF will be favored at both locations.

I wouldn't say that Ole Miss sucks... They're mediocre and will struggle on the road like mediocre teams do. I'd still say they're in good shape to make the tournament, and will be considered a "quality win." Not a signature win, but a quality one nonetheless.
The game at Rupp will be tough, and I won't predict a win there until I see it. But posts like "we'll be lucky to split with them" are simply knee-jerk reactions to the Arkansas debacle.

Let's just forfeit. We can't possibly beat a team that has no paint game and no point guard.

It's way too soon to speculate on Murphy anyway....he was able to walk on it and didn't appear to be in terrible amounts of pain....he might miss UK but i dont foresee him being out for a length of time....

we can get some practice in and get well-rested if we just forfeit.
i think it's a viable option

Cal, in his postgame show (conversational interview with fans who stay after game) appears to be trying to further temper already low expectations for Tuesday. "They lost one player from last year's team, we only returned one that played." Mentioned UF fan's and players will be "waiting in the weeds" for Tuesday - added that after last year they've been waiting for Tuesday's game for a while (for a chance at revenge I guess). I'm paraphrasing these "quotes" by the way. Also threw in coach speak about how its never about winning one particular game as much as it is trying to get better for March - duh.
After typing this I'm wondering why I bothered. Its pretty uneventful stuff. Oh well.
Will definitely be a fun game.

Florida doesnt have much to worry about IMHO. Kentucky will have to play the best game they have played this year to win and I just don't see it.

Didn't UK play today? Since when did they mysteriously get their legs?
