UF Lacrosse ranked #1 to start the season
had the team come out and take a bow at the olemiss hoops game. big team/lots of players! preseason #1 in one poll: http://www.gatorzone.com/story.php?id=24782
that's one sport i want to check out live. check out the facilities etc. learn more about the sport too. looks exciting. have watched some action on gatorvision and followed some of the games on tracker (they need to improve that graphic) and audio. could be our next nat'l title winning squad.

Good win - MVP must be Meagher who pretty much won the game single-handledly between the goalposts.
Saw some of the 2nd half on ESPN3 and it was pretty ugly though...so many turnovers and slooooooow play by both teams. Whatever works, but as a fan, I hope this is not indicative of the style of play we'll see this season.

Sorry no updates, but the game was great. Didn't start very well, but our ladies dominated the 2nd half. Probably 60-70 Gator fans there. The UNC fans were extremely nice. Walking out, one of their band member told us he's always been a Gator fan. Very fun day for me, my wife and my two daughters. Go Gators!

Hopefully ESPN3 will replay tonight or tomorrow. After watching them beat NW here in Evanston last year, I'm hooked. They were probably the best team last year and robbed by officiating that don't want the new schools treading on Lacrosse' tradition.

Big monkey off the back. Having lost to UNC the first 3 seasons, and never having beat an ACC team or winning a game when trailing at half. Still have no clue why UNC won't come play us down here, every match has been there.
Bad weekend for #5 ranked teams facing the gators in gymnastics, softball and lacrosse.

Reason they don't want to play in Gainesville- They don't want their players to see our great locker rooms and stadium. Remember in our first year we played a team whose coach made her players change their clothes in the bus for the same reason.
