Official Final: Florida - 83 vs Miss State - 58, Saturday, 5:00 PM, FSN/Sun Sports
A week or so ago I was posting about Ole Miss coming to town having suffered a double whammy with a loss to Kentucky and the additional loss of two of their players. Now we have Miss State coming to Gainesville with a similar situation but it is the Gators who are suffering from the same fate. I don't need to go into detail as anyone following the team knows what happened with our first SEC defeat and the injury to Will Yeguette, which could mean the team will be without him the rest of the year. Still this team has suffered through injuries almost the entire season and have managed to put up an impressive record so I still have faith we can wind up with an excellent year.
MSU comes into the O'Connell Center with a dismal 7-14 (2-7) record having already suffered a defeat on their own turf at the hands of the Gators to the tune of 82-47. How our guys handle the adversity of the last few days is something I believe all of us are anxious to see. If the team is not suffering from the hangover of a defeat at Arkie and the loss of a key starter they should once again dispatch the Bulldogs fairly handily. Hopefully the guys see that there is still a lot of things they can accomplish this season and plenty of places to hang some more banners.
A few questions for tomorrow:
What will the mental attitude of the team be when they hit the floor?
How will Prather respond to an increase in playing time?
Will any of the freshmen beside Frazier II be able to step up and give quality time on the floor?
Go Gators!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pregame notes are available here
You can listen to Mick and Mark here
More of the Bulldogs here

Frazier2 will play an ever increasing role.
need prather to get back to pre-injury form. this game will help alot in that regard, hopefully.
everyone needs to step up.
looking for increased practice reps and p.t. for devon walker and others too to help fill the void. may not pay dividends this game and the next, but down the road, it's bound to help.
last year after will went down, it took us awhile to adjust. need to 'adjust on the fly' this season w/ UK coming to down on tuesday.

Help me out, NBN fans. Going to the game today (first time since 1981!) Where is the best place to park? My husband just had both knees scoped two weeks ago and I want to park as close as possible. I'm guessing my other option is to drop him off, park in the garage by Hume and walk back. Any other suggestions?

I never had a problem just parking in the o'dome lot...you just need to get there early before they start closing things off.

There's also a parking lot on Lemerand Drive south of Museum Road--there's a shuttle bus to the O'dome--don't know how often it runs

If you are not in the south/southeast, it looks like the game will be available on ESPN3. ESPN3 is blacked out in TX, MZ, AK, LA, KT, TN, MS, AL, GA, SC, and FL.

I sense this game not going well for us. We'll win, but I think with WY's injury and coming off of a loss, we need to refocus. I think Prather will revert back to his old self a little bit. As my brother say yesterday, "He just needs to throw one down in someones face, and then he'll be alright".

I wish I could help you there but you may have the best idea already. Maybe drop him off then park in the garage. Whichever it is I hope you both have a great time.

Unless the paper made a mistake today, Florida is favored by 29 points and that's based on them not having Will Yeguette. Boy, MSU must really suck.

MSU only has six players on scholarship for today's game. We need to get Walker and Graham some minutes.

Park in the commuter lot and take the shuttle bus to go to the game.

Billy says Frazier to start for Scottie. Showed more fire on practice.
