I feel like anyone who is not considered a high profile recruit has a good shot of being a sleeper.
Muschamp is VERY good at evaluating talent so I feel any 3 star we take is a good one.

Ivie on defense, Hawkins on offense. With all the talk we here about Robinson, I heard that he and Hawkins were even match ups every time they played against each other. Apparently both are very good defenders. Reminds me of Jabar Gaffney.
Ivie is the reincarnation of Trace Armstrong. Smart, fierce, inspiring leader and a versatile lineman.
As far as sleeper of the year, nobody can compete with my son. He slept through two final exams last semester.

I will take Trevon Young. That guy is an athlete. He can move and plays with aggression. Not sure he can be a tight end. His video doesn't show him catching any passes, just blocking the crap out of people and showing a very quick first step on defense.

I'm with you Freak. After watching some of this kid's film, I was really impressed with his quickness and even more so with his perserverence. However, since he has only been playing football for two years, it will likely take some time for him to develop football skills, with a very likely redshirt next year.
Adam Lane, I think, will be the Gator's leading rusher, if not next year, then the year after.
Townsend, an Eagle Scout, by the way, and, as a Woodbadge Trained Scout leader, I can vouch for the character of kids like that, apparently not only punted, but also played Free Safety and QB, with roughly 4.6 speed, so he may end up being much like ole Chass Henry. But he also will likely redshirt.
Actually, I think that this year's 3-Star recruits are a rather amazing group from the prospectus perspective. I FEEL like almost all of them are very strong prospects.

I don't get the correlation. Are you saying Jeff Driskel is a better player than Alvin Bailey is right now? If so, how does that relate to Alvin being my sleeper out of this class. (A player that may not play until 2015 but still may be a sleeper?)
Even if that is what you're saying you have to admit Driskel is not a great passing QB. IN which our WR's would struggle.

Jeff can now become a good passer due to the fact that Coach has done so much to put a decent offensive line in front of him.

Jeff is an accurate passer. He needs better pocket awareness a better Oline and better WR's. Jeff was very very raw out of high school just like Bailey is very raw at WR out of high school.

Neal, because he's going to have to clean up all of VHIII's mistakes! Seriously though, Neal is the real deal. Complete baller. Second would be Bostwick. From all reports, he's an animal.
Sleeper sleeper sleeper is Caleb Brantley. Man, he came in for three plays in the all star game and had a sack and a qb hurry.

Flip side.
One I didn't mind losing: Bower - think he'll bust. Just does not look the part of a nasty DL. Plus, he's a flake.

It's tough to disagree with you on that. However, Jeff can be an accurate passer at times but he struggles throwing downfield and still makes poor decisions. He struggles recognizing when to throw the ball away AND he takes way too many sacks. Yes, I understand the OL is responsible for several sacks just as Jeff is for many as well. All I was saying is when you have a QB that averages 180 +/- yards a game you wont get many opportunities as a WR.
I realize alot of his mistakes are because he is raw and young. We'll see how he progresses as a JR. I look forward to it!!

When your WR's cant beat the man in front of them QB's are not going to throw for a lot of Yards. The WR were not very good period. In high school if no one was open Jeff used his legs to make a play. But for some reason people think just because he was rated the number 1 QB out of high school he is supposed to be able to go through reads like he is a Manning. It does not work that way.

Losing Bower hurts we needed another DE in this class but it is not devastating I am not willing to say he will be a bust the kid seems to work hard. I thought if Florida landed Bower then Sheirt would be moved to TE but I am not so sure now. I just dont know where Sherit would play in our defense and he has the skill set to be a very good TE.

So you do get the fact that Jeff has had no weapons to speak of at all. Lets wait and see what he can do with playmakers before saying he can't throw for yards.
