Are we in danger with admissions?
On twitter some recruits seem nervous either for themselves or other parts of the class
Hope we keep all 30 and other schools lose a few

I think Muschamp and crew factor those things into recruiting. They are usually pretty thorough. Last year they had a positive result in that regard - retention. There is no reason to believe that this year will be any different.

I don't know if it's still the case but I remember reading somewhere that during the Meyer years, Florida had one of the largest discrepancies between the admission requirements of general students and football players.

Can't believe you just said that. You will be viciously verbally attacked by some paramilitary Urban Meyer lovers very shortly.
Bombs away!

They should be nervous about GPD. They're more dangerous to our national title hopes than any team on our schedule.

Our admissions department is pretty tough about who gets an LOI. They don't even let prospects visit if they're not on track to qualify. Phillips last year was the first non-qualifier I can remember in a few years.

That study was in the AJC 4 years ago. It also took into account spurrier's last few classes and zook's classes. It wasn't an indictment on Meyer. Nonetheless, I think Urban is a P.O.S.

He implied nothing of the sort, but thanks for trying to turn it into a piss fest. And thanks to Ray for an unlimited ignore list.

Why ignore? Wouldn't that make the board boring.

Staver goes to one of the best private schools in Tennessee. Really ritzy place. I would be shocked if he didn't get in.

Today was the day that UF announced which non-athlete applicants got accepted into school. They put it out at 5:00 this afternoon, would bet that was why it got talked about on twitter today. These athletes have non-athlete friends who have applied.

So I guess the answer to the OP question is: no, not necessarily. You seemed to have misinterpreted some information.

Some would rather ignore and still take shots. Kind of defeats the purpose to ignore someone if you're still going to do that.
