Or, you could throw the comparisons out the window, and evaluate the situation for each team. Reed and Cummings were exactly what we needed, due to the losses of Hunter and Floyd, and the lack of numbers at tackle. Sherit is more of a "Bandit" type of end, so I'll be interested to see how they utilize his talent. He'll either bulk up to play end in Muschamp's defense, or he'll be flipped over to the Buck position.
The other four fit in nicely with our scheme and what we do. We could, however, use a true nose tackle.
'Bama got a phenomenal group of high school defensive linemen. Probably better on paper than ours, but that's hardly a big deal. We addressed our needs. We also signed players who'll come in and play immediately.
