James White NBA dunk contest
Apologize if this was already posted, but James White will be in the dunk contest this year! Talk about a flashback! Dude barely gets minutes.

He better hope David Lee doesn't get an invite too.

That's what I was thinking when I saw it scrolling this morning. May be one of the only ones wanting to do it.
Best of luck, for some reason I view him more favorably than most transfers.

Finally a top notch dunker in the competition. I recall seeing him getting minutes earlier this year and thinking "I hope he does the dunk contest."

David was awesome that day. Still awesome today, but not as flamboyant.

Why? He was a headcase and basically got kicked out. I don't see how he could have endeared himself to any UF fan.
Guy could have been an all-world player if he fully accepted Donovan's tuteledge, but instead was a headcase with an attitude back then (granted alot of people have those issues at 18-19 years old... no idea how he carries himself now, hopefully he's changed). I hold nothing against him now, and it will be interesting to see him dunk in the dunk contest... I might specifically tune in to see that (yeah, I was there for his Midnight Madness dunk). But he is probably one of the first players where you think "what might have been" for Florida in that stretch between the first Championship game and the run the 04's had.
