Different side of the pond. Frankly, I could see a similar reaction to this gentleman as you saw with Lou Reed though this act was much more commercially successful.

Or trouble. My days camping at festivals or races are over. I've gotten soft or older or both.

I actually like the camping. And this year I am camping with 4 girls at Coachella, so pray for me. We are getting a shower this year at least, not that I will likely use it.

We expect pictures of these 4 young ladies sharing the shower.
I just can't do the camping thing anymore which is one of the reasons why I like Lolla so much.

75% yes but the 25% is my sister so doesn't really count for me.

The "Thin White Duke" has just released a new album. That would be enough to get me to Lolla. Funny that you mentioned he might have the same reaction from Lolla youngsters. Did you see the film Perks of Being a Wallflower? These uber hipster teens who seem to know everything about music hear a new Bowie song and don't even know who he is.

That's pretty damn funny! Have not seen that movie but I think I need to. Hipsters are a curious bunch for sure.

I'm thinking more about the camping thing. Sabras probably make better camping mates than most American women. Did your sister serve in the IDF?

No she didn't and that's probably for the best. Actually the coolest ladies in the campgrounds I have found were the Aussies.

Just stumbled on this newer festival in New Orleans. I like that it is A) in New Orleans and B) in March because of the cooler weather. I might consider Friday because of Japandroids and Primus.

Japandroids blew my mind last year at p4k. Might have been the best set all weekend.

I am so looking forward to catching them at Coachella. Their album sits on repeat in my car for weeks at a time still.

I missed them when they came through Tampa last November, regrettably.
