That said, isn't it weird how the night we play the worst complete game we have played all year coincides with Arkansas playing just about their best game, nearly all the bounces going Arkansas' way, and the Refs calling too much ticky-tack crap on us.... (not that it was all the refs fault).

I am not sure what part on defense you do not agree with. Do you think UF's D did show up last night and UF's offense did not?
I do agree that facing tough D on opponents part at least early in a game will be par for the course, but it does not mean UF will struggle every time. It will be good for UF.
Rather than being weird, that is how an upset happens. One team plays slighly worse than it has been playing, the other team plays better than it has been playing, the breaks go the worse teams way, ie UF commits live turnovers that lead to easy points. And an important player gets a tickly tack foul or two called on them.
