I'm only guessing, but I think it might have been a mistake by Muschamp or one of the coaches. I don't think the office is expected to keep LOIs secret. I believe even Gatorzone, the official UF website posted it.
I think whoever talked with Bower probably didn't communicate with the office that that LOI was to be a secret.

Great class. It is hilarious to see a lot of the guys who get paid for "being in the know" end up being way off. Why were all of these people saying we'd be getting two surprises today? We ended with 0, correct?

I'm a little late to the party, so let me get this straight. A kid would flip a scholarship commitment because his LOI was - apparently - mistakenly disclosed, thus robbing him of his "moment in the media spotlight" ? That's what did it ?
