The Swamp Gas Sanctimony Committee has ruled. Those guilty of defying the Committee's ruling shall be deemed "junior high", silly, juvenile, immature, inappropriate or otherwise unacceptable by the aforementioned Committee.

Three days for what??? As soon as I saw the pontification on the scUM thread (subsequently moved to the Recruiting page), I came up with the SG Sanctimony Committee. If the boot fits, wear it. Used to be we had grammar police, now we have those that feel the need police humor.

Actually about 10 seconds, but who's counting? I tried to use restraint hoping that the self-righteousness would stop, but it didn't.

I enjoyed the posted page, though the only thing I really agree with is how we shorten words and names to 1 syllable. I'm also from GR like Weaver. It's funny because my mom says melk, pellow and onvelope but I've always said them as milk, pillow and envelope. I'm not sure why we've always been different. Her parents are from Indiana and say things like warsh, but my mom has always said wash.

I can't say that I've ever heard anybody here say Mee-sh-i-gan though. It always has a short "i' after the M, but it's said really fast so it's nearly 1 syllable.
