So shouldnt your anger be directed at the interviewer?

sure somewhat, the reporter shouldn't demean the office, but america didn't elect the reporter twice, sometimes the POTUS needs to act like a POTUS.

I doubt it would be possible for him to act like whatever mythical idea you have of the POTUS. All he did was express an opinion about a subject that is in the news when asked by an interviewer in an interview situation. You happen to disagree with the answer, that seems to be your main beef. If he'd just lobbed softballs, you'd probably say it was the compliant media making him look good. Dude can't win.

I doubt anyone would critisize him for saying "I don't want to get into that" or "The Boy Scout Organization hasn't asked me for my opinion".
Numbnuts is pandering and everyone knows it. And the economy continues the slowest rebound from a recession in the last 70 years...on his watch. Not Bush's fault. His fault. His agenda is bad news for the country. Any gains or good news is inspite of him not because of his policies.

Actually it seems like "pandering" would be dodging the question to talk about more popular stuff like football or puppies, not giving an opinion on a divisive subject.

He could have said that. But the man has an opinion on it and he spoke it very clearly:
Quote:
|
"My attitude is that gays and lesbians should have access and opportunity the same way everybody else does, in every institution and walk of life," , "The Scouts are a great institution that are promoting young people and exposing them to opportunities and leadership that will serve people for the rest of their lives. And I think nobody should be barred from that."
|
I don't know if the majority of Americans agree with him or not. But that's his opinion and he gave it. I don't see why he should refrain just because some people aren't going to like it.
Aren't you guys the epitome of political correctness, not wanting to hear anything that offends you?

Political Correctness would be better addressed by those of you on the far left as it gets crammed down our throats daily. IMHO- Numbnuts should use every question asked as an opportunity to talk about creating "job" opportunities to grow our economy. Instead, he focuses on divisive issues. He's an idiot. Is that politically correct enough for you?
And stop and think about it...would you allow a 16 year old hopped up on hormones, pimple faced boy to join the girl scouts and share a tent with young girls? Well then why in the hell would you want to put a 16 year old boy (who is sexually attracted to boys) in a tent with a bunch of boys? Why would you do that? Makes zero sense. But that is numbnuts and his coolaid drinking followers.

Are you serious?
Do you think sexuality has something to do with camping and hiking?
Do youth ink that girls who like hiking and camping are lesbians?
