I get to watch this kid here in swfl, he is a good one, now if we could get JC Jackson from here in Immokalee to join him, we would have two solid receivers for the next class. Wow this recruiting thing is speeding up at a break neck speed. I don't even know all of this coming class by name yet. And the next class is already almost full! WOW

A verbal for a year and a half from now. Please get lives. Elmers glue has a better chance of holding in a hurricane.

Evidence? To the contrary, we have a better change of signing him in Feb. of 2014 than if he had not committed to us this week. It's also an opportunity for him to begin recruiting for us.
FWIW, did any of you know that he is Sammy Watkins' cousin ?

Had to turn off the highlights halfway through. Nothing but hitch and smash routes and screens. Was he playing middle schoolers? Great body type, but that film showed me nothing.

Ya, I've only really seen a handful of his videos, but they mostly look like his Freshman/Sophmore years... Some of those highlights could possibly be from a JV game when he was a Frosh.
That said though, he does have the intangibles and an apparent blood-line for football. In 2014 he will more than likely emerge as a top 3 WR in the state. Also, kids who choose early undoubtedly get that much more attention and are usually listed early as a top 150.

6-3 and 180 as a Sophmore is nice. He may well be pushing 190-200 pounds by the time he gets to UF.
Do we have any idea on what his speed is?

His long speed looked good but his acceleration and take off didn't look as good. Didn't see much explosion off the line.

The good news is that o some extent explosion off the line can be taught and gained...now, I am not saying he will ever have a Harvin type first step, but he can get quicker.

Which also makes him a cousin of our very own Jaylen Watkins.

It's amazing when you consider how young he is at how big he is! Loved reading about that phone call he made to Coach Muschamp when he wanted to commit to UF!

Didn't see any actual numbers, but sounds like he killed it at the junior combine. I suspect his speed is legit and he will continue to climb through the camps season and then the actual football season.
Add Lane and let's call it a day.

his 40 time is not great but he is unreal quick off the line for his size. I highly doubt we get Lane but Josh Malone would be a great get.
