You do realize just about every top H.S. recruit out there has a fairly large ego, and "ego fluffing" is what all coaches, including ours, spend probably half their time doing?

So getting back to Ramsey, is he just going to send an LOI in somewhere? If that's the case I'd have to say he is sticking with super douch bag liar boy and USC. Otherwise, why not schedule an announcement?

Knowing what little I know about Ramsey and his family, I can see him just faxing in an LOI to the school he wants to attend. Maybe he does an announcement at school, but that would be backtracking. He and his family will probably do some after the fact explanation of the final decision, assuming it's somewhere besides USC.

Don't get me wrong, I like our chances with Ramsey.
It makes sense for him to come to UF, a helluvah lot more than to pledge to USC.
Our coaches certainly put in the effort to show him we have a place for him and USC is going to do nothing the next 3-4 years. (Probation plus Kiffin= suck)
I will just be amazed and impressed to see a recruit in this day and age forgo the stupid hat selection in their high school gym on ESPN.

As of right now...

Ramsey is leaning UF. Likes the school and gets along great with the players. His friend Max is already going and he has bonded with Nick Washington and Vernon Hargreaves.

Problem is that Dad is pushing f$u. Dad sees this as the fastest way onto the field. He seems to be controlling a lot of what is happening.

There are mixed signals on him. Nick and Vernon think he will be a Gator. Coaches are cautiously optimistic. Dad is in control in the end and we are selling like hell right now on the phone.

Prayers people....
