Are they going to shut down the boards again on NSD where you can't even log in?

David Shepherd has been posting on which threads with a sticky at the top of them that they will be shut down. A couple of examples are The Pub and Too Hot.

The quesion is not if they are goin to shut down boards, but for how long.

Yeah, last year you couldn't get on here. We had to go to other sites.

Don't know why they can't at least leave a thread or something up, or maybe a temp board that shows the LOI's and when they come in. Just some suggestions.

Lot of people have been loyal to this site for years but to shut them out on such a big day isn't exactly what I call being fan friendly.

Shutting down this board on NSD is like...

10. shutting down the lights during the Superbowl
9. paying for a combo meal and driving away and discover later you got no fries in the bag
8. Losing tv reception just when the last second field goal is kicked
7. Discovering you misplaced the ring only after you are on your knee
6. Going forward in time to get the winning numbers and coming back and discovering you left the paper in the future.
5. Getting 1 wish and wishing for anything instead of more wishes
4. Winning your first SEC championship only to have it stripped and awarded to someone you beat who got to keep theirs when they did the same thing you did.
3. Losing to UGA on a fumble going in the endzone, or Run Lindsay Run, or fill in the blank. Here is the Blank ______
2. Having a lasting love affair with a girlfriend who turns out doesn't exist

Drumrollllllllll...............

1. Making out with the most beautiful woman you ever saw but it turns out she is a tranny

yeah NSD sucks for me... all i have is my phone with GC and every year its down so i have to wait for updates from my friends when i'm usually the one updating.

The site will go down and everyone will complain and paying members will be assured it won't happen again...until next signing day or when Urban resigns again...

Time for a you guys to make a twitter account. Can follow recruiting from there really easy plus you don't have to watch posters argue with each other about who has more people on ignore list and what not. Also I don't think national signing day will crash twitter.

If you don't want to make a twitter then you can just bookmark a couple of people's accounts and have an idea of what's going on.

I just call the gator recruiting hotline and eventually it gives all the LOI's that are in later in the afternoon.

The only twitter stuff I keep up with is the feed on the right side of http://espn.go.com/colleges/florida/index

I forgot all about the recruiting hotline. Before I started to play with the computer, that's what I did, calling about every thirty minutes.

Honestly though, it takes 2 minutes to make an account and then your phone will get all their updates plus whoever else you decide to follow (Clark). Nobody is going to make you follow Kim Kardashian

I just signed up for an account about a month ago and I feel the wave of Gator recruiting flow over me on a constant basis now...
