I've seen Bostwick listed as a DE, even at his size. He would complement Brantley very well and would help us keep within reach of Bama in this "arms race."
I think we gained ground on them with our OL recruits and transfers. If Riles and/or Ivie gain 25 pounds or more, we'll have some more very athletic DTs and make up for some of the players on our wish list that didn't come our way.

If Reed canceled to Ole Miss do you think it's because he's down to us or Bama? I would feel pretty good closing with J & J.

Bamer folks are saying A. Robinson to OL. I find it hard to believe, but that's what they are saying.
That would leave the tahd with 4 DTs counting Reed. With Reed visiting Tuscaloser the last two weekends, I'd say Reed to bamer is highly likely.

I think/hope CWM can pull off Bostwick and a DL surprise. This years class combined with Fowler & Bullard is how you build a DL.

Reuben Foster to Bama now, after Reese Dismukes called him a ni@#er on his Auburn trip. Bama has to be getting down to a scholarship numbers crunch at this point in time.

Saban originally wanted 3 DTs in this class. If he closes with Liner and Vanderdoes and Robinson is an OL, bama may not have room for Reed. That may be why Reed is down to UF and UA after having visited Tuscaloosa the last two weekends.

I'd take Reed whether he likes UF a lot or he passes down to UF because bama doesn't have room in the inn. Reed would be an excellent pickup for UF no matter the case.

Not sure who will be the last one or two, but think the class winds up at 28. People saying 30+ seems too many, given in the many years of following uf recruiting, never remember it breaking 30. 28 would be a lot.

giving yourself a 5 scholarship probation is not a good thing.

James Clark's teammate DE Davarez Bryant went to FSU this weekend he didnt publicly commit, I would love for Florida to steal him on Wednesday.

Florida not offering him late makes me think we are going to close better than most fans think. He might be a 3 star prospect, but he has only been playing football for a year and has a ton of upside.

Not sure. They had 26 in 22 in 2010, 26 2011, and at 21 now. They have their RBs, WRs, TE, CBs, QBs covered. They have 3 OL, 3 DL currently and have room for more and if they go to 26(maybe can go higher?) they still have room for LBs/S.
I guess what I'm hoping is that Jarran Reed gets squeezed and remembers how much he loved his UF visit.

But only sign kids that have a reasonable chance of contributing. I'd rather fill up but if we leave a couple slots empty we can sign more next year...

UGA is telling recruits it will not get Adams. Still looks like Clemson for him unless Auburn changed his mind this weekend.

Wish it were Bostwick AND Reed or Bower. I actually like our DL board going to NSD- should get at least one.
We are at 25, how high can we go? If I'm understanding our board correctly, for the most part we have the possibility of:
DL- Bostwick, Bower, Reed
CB- Ramsey
WR- Clarke
OL- ?
RB- ?
Anyone know what's going on with Josh Outlaw?
Alex Collins?
Can we go to 29? I would trade Alex Collins for either of Bostwick/Bower/Reed. I've maintained AC is good enough to keep our DTs off the field anyway, minimizing the necessity of having so many in rotation. But I realize we still need at least one to finish well.
Any chance we lose one of our WR commits and replace him with Clarke? Thought I picked up that one of our WRs might be looking.

We can go to 32 or 33, but we won't. The 85 scholarship limit isn't going to be a problem. We'll be short of it.
