DE Davarez Bryant is taking an official to FSU this weekend he is James Clark's teammate and a kid that I thought would be a great plan B on signing day

With the loss of Bellamy and the realization that Tashawn Bower is likely sticking with Auburn, that makes a lot of sense. Maybe Muschamp should have Bryant drop by on Sunday afternoon on his way home? The dead period starts on Monday.

I was hoping he would ride up with Clark this weekend.

Dee Liner is no longer visiting UGA Saban told him if he went on the visit he would no longer have a Bama offer. Bama's Dline commits will impact where Jarran Reed goes.

There's nothing like threatening someone to show them you care, eh?

I am pretty sure Florida has done the same thing this year. You notice committed kids are not taking visits to other schools.

I think it's reasonable to do that. If a kid gives a staff his "word" that he'll play for them, they should have the right to say you're going to honor that-or we're going to show you what hardball is.
Of course, that hasn't stopped them from going after prospects committed elsewhere, but that's for a different day.

It's all about strength of position. Highly rated prospects and schools with players lined up waiting to commit can afford to play chicken or hardball. The converse, not so much.

Based on... ?
Quotes attributed to our recruits in the recent Zach A article about Muschamp's approach implied the opposite - I'd be interested to read where someone has said we've threatened to pull the plug.

Reading between the lines, I got the feeling that Muschamp threatened to pull on Riles if he visited Michigan State a few weeks back. Seemed like he was all set to go, then suddenly cancelled the visit & came out with a few quotes saying he was all Gator and 100% committed.
I think Muschamp has encouraged uncommitted recruits to take their visits, but I highly doubt he is encouraging UF commits to take visits.

This is correct. Muschamp has no issue with uncommitted players taking their trips. However, once you commit, he expects that to be it. He has the Mack Brown mentality when it comes to that.

You never waste any opportunity to put our team down, do you?
From the possible money that Freeze might be paying his new signees, to now this.
Just because other teams might cheat doesn't mean we do too.

Based on Riles Hawkins & Powell's actions. Nothing is wrong with the policy, "You look we look"

Jarran Reed is in Tuscaloser again this weekend. That's two weeks in a row. It looks like bama has him.
Eddie Vanderdoes was in a seafood restaurant with Nick Saban last night. The people in the restaurant started chanting Eddie, Eddie, Eddie. I wonder if they broke out a rammer jammer when he went to take a dump?

It is going to be great watching the Gators beat them in the SEC championship this year. Bama's class had some big wholes going into the last few months of recruiting but they did a great job finding some late bloomers at CB and decommits at CB and DL to fill out the class nicely. Really wish we could have gotten Reed but you cant win them all.

So you're "pretty sure" but then admit you base it on conjecture. Or do you have anything more concerete?

A little bit of both take it how you want to. You could say everything in recruiting is conjecture.
