Hey, folks...my wife and I will be in Gainesville on Saturday. We are spending the night there, and want to attend the game vs. Ole Miss. This would the first Gator basketball game we've seen in person. Is it hard to get tickets? How much do they usually cost?

no there are plenty of tickets available at the box office and they are cheap.

You can also do the following which I have done with 100 percent success since 2005 and I go to a ton of games. I show up about 50 minutes before game time for big games and hang out in front of the main entrance to the ODome and hold up two fingers. I have never paid above face value for a ticket and I have never had to set above Level 2. I get tickets in Level 1 70 percent of the time. I usually have my tickets in hand by 15 minutes before tip off. If you get them from the box office at this point, you will be sitting in level 3.

Yea, I didnt see any good seats available thru ticketmaster. Buy outside or watch on tv at this point.

in front of the o'dome entrance works most games. however, for the missouri game, there were 'no' tix to be found there. so, cross university drive to emerson hall and get tix there - they may be above face value - if you can't find the tix in front of the o'dome. i had to get a tix 'across the street' (off-campus) for missouri. since ole miss loss, perhaps tix won't be as scarce.

start saving for the ncaa's 1st round/1st weekend....or the SEC-T (that's a fun tournament!) plan ahead to follow the gators on the road!

if you've never been to a gator game = you NEED to attend! get a couple tix off the streets, if you have too. it's worth the experience, believe me. especially lower or 2nd tier seats. just DO it! plus, you DO need to see THIS gator team, live and cheer your butt off for them!
