Clemson isnt confident for some reason, tOSU is some what optimistic neither got his parents on campus. If the staff does their job like they typically do Clark should be a Gator on NSD.

I think we get him after this weekend's visit.

I'm glad you guys are optimistic. I'm shutting down on James Clark in case I took the wow comment the wrong way. I apologize in advance if I offended anyone.

You didn't offend anyone or at least I hope no one was offended. Are you the same poster that got mad when Bower said "they have to recruit me harder than anyone else"?
Just like everyone else I am guessing but history tells us Florida has a great chance at getting Clark when you go down the "recruiting checklist".

He sounds a bit confused, hopefully CWM helps him see the light.

You mean like Boom saying we went 11-2 with an offense lacking playmakers. Imagine what you could add Mr. Clark. Imagine what we could win with you on board. Seems like a pretty legit selling point to me.

If I were Clark I'd find the possibility of being the next Percy Harvin more appealing. Yea, you can try to sell winning. But what good is it to these guys if they're team is winning and they're on the bench, or being a part of an offense that doesn't feature WR's that well? And then factor in Ohio State's going to be championship contenders, too.
I felt good about our chances against Clemson. Urban Meyer's Ohio State? Not so much.

I understand that but its just as easy to sell the simple fact that we haven't had any true playmakers at the WR position since Percy.

Clemson is out for Clark they didn't even do an in home visit. Clark really liked tOSU academic and alumni presentation. IMO this is good news because the staff has been praised many times about the academic presentation on visits.

As someone currently attending UF, I can promise Clark it's an academically sound university. I hope he sees that it is. I wonder why Clemson is out of it? Good news though. That means Muschamp is definitely the last coach he sees, right?

tOSU took another WR commit a couple of days ago. The also have the tOSU Percy Harvin already in the recruiting class. On Scout's tOSU class review, they say a 6'1"/190 WR is going to be tOSU's Percy Harvin. I don't recall his name.
I hope James commits to UF this weekend.
Ryan Timmons says he had a great in-home visit with the UF staff and his decision is going to be harder now. We get his last visit this wekend as well.

Didn't Meyer let more than half of this talent rot on the bench?

ETGator1 the player you are referring to is jalin Marshall. Yes he's good but nowhere near Percy good. Clark is closer to being a Percy clone than jalin marshal is.

Seems like Muschamp has them ready faster then.

There are players ready to play early from every class.

Yeah because EE Pittman sure lit it up this year . Like CWM says it isn't add water instant football player. Kids are ready at different times. Also when you are a deep team it takes longer to get on the field. What postion they played in high school also matters. Many people expect Alvin Bailey and Fulwood to light it up right away where I dont. One because of physical stature and one because of learning the nuances of the position.
