Are we due for a letdown tonight vs. USCe?
Oops, I meant DUE, not DO.
Something with the timing with this one. Don't get me wrong, I do NOT think we will lose. But I have a feeling we may choose not to play great tonight. Which is fine. Having just come off the road, midweek game, Ole Miss looming for a big game Saturday. I could see tonight being a bit frustrating.
Despite Ole Miss' loss, I do think Saturday is still a very big game. And one in which we will dominate.

I'm pretty sure the first half of the UGA game was our in conference let down game. I'm not sure this team will let that happen again for a while. A lot of senior leadership on this team (including the juniors or at least Scottie in the senior leadership discussion).

If our players are as concentrated as you are we may be in trouble.

i think we need to 'worry' about every game - whatever the next game is on the schedule.

Just for some perspective here, we are favored by 23 points, and KenPom's model predicts that we will win by 32 and gives us a 99% chance of winning the game. If we win by 15, it will be sort of a letdown. The ball can bounce in funny ways, but all indications are that this Gator team is way better than this Gamecock team.

Thank you. Very cool. I guess I was thinking we would win without much fear of losing, but in the 7-12 point range. I hope we win by 32. That is more fun.

I don't think this team is going to lose again in conference except for one of the Kentucky games

I think UMs losing last night took some of the trap nature out of the game against SoCar tonight. Still I am of the your worry about every game camp and as I pointed out in another thread the 13-3 SEC champs of 2011 lost to SoCar at home.
Really UF losing comes down to a night when 5 or more UF players have a bad night on offense and someone starts making crazy shots. At UGa was like that in the first half with the offense mainly one guy, Wilbekin, and UGa thowing in long 3s. Maybe it will happen again and UF will lose.
I thought about starting a thread on the SEC record again. UF has done what most people expected in the first 6 games, ie gone 6-0. So how does everyone expect UF to finish give:
1. Road games at UAR, at AU, at UMo, at UTn, at UK
2. Home games with SoCar, UMs, MSU, UK, UAR, UAL, Vandy
I can see how UF might have 1-3 losses among those road games. I would like to think UF will take care of business at home.

I think we lose two of those road games, maybe 3 and win the rest.

If by letdown you mean not winning by our normal 20, probably. I could definitely see us "only" winning by 6-8 pts, but I honestly don't see us dropping this game.

I would be shocked if we win a single-digit game, but I will take it. Winning beats the hell out of losing no matter what the score.
I just see this team as taking too much pride to let that happen.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I hope that I am not.

I know I'm starting to get cocky when I say stuff like this but this team would have to have an AWFUL night to lose to USCe. Our defense is simply too good. And our offense is simply too efficient.
Wilbekin on Ellington and he'll get 10-15 but we'll win by 20ish. Hopefully...
