Official Final: Florida - 75 vs South Carolina - 36, Wednesday, 8:00 PM, SEC Network
The South Carolina Gamecocks are the next team to test themselves against the league leading, and currently ranked # 4, Florida Gators. This will be the first of a slate of games where we will see our guys play 4 out of 5 in the confines of the O-Dome. The Rowdy Reptiles are going to get a good workout over the next couple of weeks with the last of these 5 being the Kentucky Wildcats. It should be a really exciting time as they set the Dome rocking and even get the older fans involved.
The Gamecocks come in with an overall record of 12-7 including 2-4 in conference play. Their best win to date has been a 21 point win over Arkansas in their last outing. However all of their losses have been close ones so we can expect a team that is going to fight hard for an upset. There's not a whole lot that can be said with respect to our game at this point as once again it is a matter of the Gator players focusing on the team at hand. If they do and continue to play like they have been then it should be another win similar to the last few.
For those who don't know, Prather is not scheduled to play this game but there is a chance he may be ready by Saturday.
Go Gators!!!!!

Should be interesting to watch Frank Martin "lose it" when the TV cameras pan in on him tonight.

I hope Spurrier shows up at the O'Dome with his pocket full of Benjamins like he did at the Cocks hoops game last week. He still knows how to steal the show.

USC rebounds well, and defends --- praticularily from the arc. They allow opponents the lowest 3-point percentage in the conference.
They are prone to turnovers.
Those three factos will play a big role.
I think we win going away.

Florida must shut down Bruce Ellington to win. Scottie will be guarding him. There's about a 5" height difference in the two favoring Florida.
Last year I know Ellington scored 17 points in one game and about 15 points in the other.

Glad Ole Miss lost last night. Took some of the luster off the Ole Miss game on Saturday and hopefully gets them more focused on USCe.

Hope we aren't sleep walking tonight (which we haven't really done all season). I expect a 10-15 point win.

A few too many. While we could cover the spread I am not expecting it. Even if we get on a roll I would think that Billy would take the foot off the gas so as not to humiliate a coach he really respects.

Donovan might go to the Frosh a bit earlier at home, but he is not a coach to put them in prematurely.

I think I get it and we'll try to keep it updated as much as possible. Hell of a note when work gets in the way of the Gators. Ought to be illegal.
