It's fine stuff, but impractical for a lot of reasons.
Let me put it this way ... a single egg has 3x more Leucine, isoleucine and 2x as much valine as the common supplement serving.
You can get 36 servings of "BCAA" for like $1.20 on sale at the grocery store.

The most important elements of free-from aminos, for me is, they require zero digestion and flow straight into the bloodstream for uptake into any and all tissue that needs it.
Proteins are great but take lot of time energy and enzymes to digest, only to break down into amino acids where they then recombine to form amino chains/peptides that are then ready to be used my your body/muscle tissue..

Yeah, but this ultimately doesn't mean anything. Skipping digestion has no tangible benefit other than speed, and even that is negligible.

All we're talking about is time, though. I don't understand what the difference is.
Time versus 50x+ the cost? I'll stick with the egg.

An egg: 2-3 servings of BCAA
1 cup of cottage cheese: 4 servings of BCAA
A steak: 12-14 servings of BCAA

Time and energy are very important to some. As I get older I notice that my digestive system is slowing down, I still eat good nutritious foods, but I supplement my diet with free-from amino acids and BCAA's.
I'm not advocating anyone follow my lead nor do I want anyone to think I'm even suggesting as much, but for me aminos are a great added benefit to my nutrient intake.
Beside that, non-essential aminos (they are very important, but because you body makes them, when healthy and young, are misnomer-ed as "non-essential" amino acids) are made from essential aminos, but that process breaks down too as you age. So supplementing non-essentials is what I do as well.
What I would do if I didn't already know is learn the functions of all the amino acids and then see what you can use to fix your system/body functions.
This is true preventative medicine without the Rx.

I still don't understand.
There's no functional difference in taking 3 servings of BCAA supplementation or eating an egg 20 minutes earlier. It's not like you lose the time or anything.

One egg has about 6 grams of protein. I eat 5 to six for breakfast everyday, but I also add aminos to supplement my needs. I also drink beef-protein shakes. I work out so I need more protein than my stomach can handle. I'd be too bloated to workout.
Remember, my metabolism isn't like it was when I was 19 years old so I augment my nutrients with AA's.

Right, my point is that separate BCAA supplementation is very inefficient and expensive compared to getting it through food.

Yes but they work really well together. I'm constantly tweaking the balance of food and AA's in my diet to feel stronger and less bloated.
As a friend I implore you to do extensive research for yourself on AA's nootopics and natural extracts for anti-aging. It's great for your mind, body and soul.
AA's aren't only for the body/muscles.

Like I said, I've been reading about BCAAs and amino acids in general since I was a kid. It's protein. There is no difference in eating a steak versus taking 12 servings of BCAAs. There's no difference in terms of nootropic benefit nor hypertrophy benefit.

Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't
I've used BCAAs before. Have a tub of BCAA powder that's probably a year old. Never really noticed anything different between taking that or my daily whey shakes (which contain more BCAAs than 20 servings of my BCAA supplement at a fraction of the cost).

The best-selling BCAA on bodybuilding.com is about $.80 a serving. My whey powder, which is about $.75 a serving, has 4x more BCAAs than the BCAA supplement.
Sometimes you gotta step back away from the hype.

Pharmaceutical Grade and Clinically Tested, among many others, are simply marketing words for the gullible.
Dietary Supplements are rife with adulterants and lies.
Caveat Emptor...a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

Didn't I tell you that I did my own research? What hype are you talking about?
