Ole Miss has a lot to offer a kid; I know because my daughter is a junior there. The campus is beautiful--one of the prettiest in the country--and the grove is the best place to tailgate ever (if you can call what they do tailgating). I'd rather hang in the grove than any other college venue. Plus, very near campus is the historic and beautiful Oxford Square, lined with shops, happening bars, and great restaurants. The school is small enough to feel personal, but large enough to offer all the things college kids want. Contrary to common belief, nearly half the student body is from out of state, with a lot of the kids coming from Florida, Texas, St. Louis, Memphis and Atlanta.
The students dress up for games, especially the girls, which is why they all look so good. The frat boys all wear blazers. It's a very classy environment. Admissions standards aren't as high there so a good coach and recruiter has a lot of advantages. Look for them to be a power soon, just in time to rotate back onto our schedule.
