That was definitely a female. Maybe Ron was in it for more than just laughs. Maybe he really wants to be a woman. That would be my take on it (or else he had some woman in on it helping him).

I have no idea what to make of this story. Other than, Teo is a very wierd dude. Many people have mentioned the MTV show CATFISH. For those who haven't watched I suggest you watch at least one episode to give you a better understanding of how frequently this happens. On every episode thus far one Facebook party dupes the other facebook party with their lies up until they finally meet. The show is terrible yet I watch it every week. UGH

I know.

HOWEVER, this Monday's CATFISH episode (January 28 11 pm) shows a kid (in US Army) that falls in love with a guy that says he is an "International Model" via Facebook and there a bunch of similarites to Teo's case. (minus the celebrity)

I'm not a fan of Facebook. I have a profile that I created when it first came out but I rarely ever use it and it baffles me how these kids can fall in love with someone they've never met, in which they've only seen a picture/s of and had phone conversations with over a period of time. Similarily to Teo the majority of these kids keep up the ruze for years. It's baffling to me.

It's kind of funny to me how people just assume this is because he's gay. There's so many reasons for this whole fiasco, and truthfully, him being gay seems the least likely. This being a ploy for press/coverage seeming the most likely.

McGraw said Tuiasosopo told him he fell deeply in love with Te'o and that for Tuiasosopo it was a romantic relationship.

"Here we have a young man that fell deeply, romantically in love," McGraw told NBC. "I asked him straight up, 'Was this a romantic relationship with you?' And he says yes. I said, 'Are you then therefore gay?' And he said, 'When you put it that way, yes.' And then he caught himself and said, 'I am confused.' "

McGraw told NBC that Te'o "absolutely, unequivocally" wasn't involved in the hoax.
