That is there point. Obama makes a statement like that and its not covered under the same scrutiny as a republican saying it.

I wonder if any of them noticed the shot against the New York Times in the very article they published.

By the way, to the OP, Obama's statement was far better than what I have seen Bush say about that very same New York Times, in which he described their reporter covering his campaign using a curse word.

Actually,I don't particularly think he should call out Fox or Rush like that. But the idea that he's first president to complain about the media is pretty laughable.
