I've been giving some serious thought to getting a Keltec P-11 9mm.
Does anybody have any experience with them? From what I've read, they're supposed to be pretty solid guns and as an added bonus, they're made in good ole Florida.

Did you ask that just to see if anyone knew that it is the type gun George Zimmerman had?
I have not shot the Keltec 9mm. I have shot many rounds with the Taurus slim 9 that is the same size and price range. Both the Keltec P-11 and the Taurus slim are low cost as handguns go. They are easy to conceal and will work for close range.

I like the Ruger LCP when it comes to pocket pistols. It's really thin, also. It's chambered in .380, but it's only about $200, and is probably the beset selling Concealed Carry gun.

Gander Mountain has that gun listed at $350.00 now. The 9mm is a little higher, but not a lot higher than the Keltec and the reviews and reputation are much better than the Taurus or Keltec.

I really don't want anything smaller than a 9mm. I have the 7.62mm Nagant which is about equivalent to a .32 already. I just don't trust a .380 to get the job done should I need it to.....and yes I plan to get a 1911 eventually, I'd just like a 9mm for now. I looked at the Hi Point but the thing is just too butt-ugly and too prone to jamming for me to feel comfortable with it.

I think you would be fine with the Keltec or the Taurus slim. The Ruger LCP comes in a 9mm and I think it is the better made of the three. I want the S&W Shield in the 9mm' but they are very hard to find.

Great! Gun porn is my second favorite kind. I love all handguns, but lean towards more modern firearms.

I don't own any guns. They all got lost in a horrible boating accident last summer on the lake.

Acquired the Keltec P11....now to get some more mags for it. The Smith and Wesson 5900 series offers 15 round mags but darned if you can find 'em (or ammo for that matter) right now.

Ebay also has 10 round magazines for the Keltec P11 for under $30. Ammo is hit and miss at this time more miss than hit. Like I posted earlier you can buy it online at the places I posted. Once in a while you might find it at Walmart or Gander Mountain and places like that. It has been crazy as even 22 ammo is hard to get in the stores.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I'm looking for the 12 round clip from Keltec (I've got a 10 round clip already) or what I'd really like are Smith and Wesson 5900 or 6900 series 15 round clips. Its been crazy trying to find stuff now.

In this case, a thousand words is better than the picture.
