Official Final: Florida - 82 vs Miss State - 47, Saturday, 8:00 PM, ESPN2
Once again Florida will be facing a set of Bulldogs but this time it will be the Bulldogs of Mississippi State who hail from Starkville Miss. This will be the 4th SEC road game out of the first six Florida has played and the 8th away game overall, so the younger players should be well versed in travel by now. Miss State has a current record of 7-10 and they are 2-3 in the conference with wins over Georgia and SC. Their last three games have all been losses where they were handled pretty badly. They lost to Bama at home by 22; on the road at Tenn by 15 and at Arkansas by 26. This probably doesn't bode to well for them with the Gators coming to town but once again a win would be a huge boost for their program so they should be sky high come game time.
I look for another game where adrenalin and playing against a highly ranked opponent may well keep the game close for awhile. However either late in the first or by the start of the second the Gators should start pulling away and win by double digits once again. The question, at this point, for me is how well our team can fare when getting the best another team can throw at them week after week. If they play like they have been coached and keep their composure then their next tough test should come a week from Saturday when Ole Miss makes a trip to the O-Dome. I, like all the other fans, would love to see all of the guys get healthy at one time so we can see the full potential of this team.
Go Gators!!

What was the story with Stansbury's departure. He resigned? Who does that? Got resigned?
Whose idea was it for him to leave?

Dont see a let down. They have actually had some decent talent in years past when they beat us. Not so much this year. Another team will be held under 50.

Gators have not won in Starkville since 2007. MS always plays Gators tough at home.

I would 100% believe he was "resigned" rather than did resign, except coaching Reynardo Sidney might drive any coach out of the game. Still I think MSU was ready to move in a new direction.
