JD has a great upside. I don't see the big concern yet. He's still learning, but if no improvement next year, I can see the coaches giving someone else a shot. We really shouldn't even be discussing that yet.

I agree. With all the talent he will have next year he has to. If not Will Grier might start as a true freshmen.

In fairness to your point, I do think Skyler came in with a little more upside than Brian did.

Get him better WRs, a deeper OL, and another year of experience and he can be great. I don't believe he's Heisman material, but more than good enough to with a national championship. Remember this guy was a true sophomore, with very little big game experience in HS or as a freshman.

It'd be great if he could get it together mentally but for me it's more hope than belief at this point.

he needs to pick a secondary receiver and not hold to the ball forever
great runner but we need a good passer and hopefully he turns into one,so far he has not shown what it takes to develop into one.hope I am proven wrong. but he will not take us to the promised land

He needs to ratchet up his game a few notches- learn to read defenses better and take his QBing game very seriously while still remembering to have fun. I'm confident he can do it. Go Gators.

Yea he's suppose to have a lot of upside. I think driskel will be absolutely fine, but if not and I'm wrong give the kid a shot.

If our O line is better than last years and is consistent, with the addition of some route runners and playing a 2nd year under Peace, our offense should be tops in the SEC.

Jeff is an awesome QB and will continue to get better. I am super stoked to see how much better he is going to be for us in 2013

I just don't see that happening- he's a much better athlete than Chris was but I think the idea that Jeff can just learn to have great touch and read defense well sells Chris short- Leak could read a defense better as a true freshman making his first start than Jeff did at any point last season.

He'd be a formidable QB in a one read and run offense or in an offense that spread a team out and let him make easy pre-snap reads. He's an athlete not a QB at this point.

A Muschamp offense will never be tops in the SEC unless the conference is falling back a ton- maybe tops in efficency but lets be honest the primary purpose of the offense is to burn clock and get good field position for the defense.
