Notice how quickly (at least on ESPN and major networks) the Rob Parker story went away? Pffftt. Gone in one day. Next day they issue a statement saying he was suspended then never mentioned it again.

The reason is simple. It does not fit the narrative they are selling (All problems for black people are/have been created by someone else and that someone needs to do something about it). Never will they admit (bad for fundraising) that there is an endemic problem within the community that holds itself back.

I use smoked hog jowl and apple cider vinegar. It might not be overly traditional, but I can eat a wheel barrow full of collards done that way.
And Rangel can go to hell. I'm a transplanted southerner and I would rather not look at Tennessee Williams, William Faulkner, and sweet tea as something to be "overcome".
