Honestly,

seeing her in that mercedes ad makes me wonder if she is using her Carl's Jr. eat free card too much. She seems a little more "loose" in the body (particularly the upper arms and mid-section) than she has in years past. Notice how she isn't showing any mid-drift which would've really set the commercial off. Her face looks a little more bloated than it has in the past as well.

don't get me wrong, she is still hot. Just noticing that there is no way that she could get on a runway right now for Victorias Secret. notice how she didn't perform in the show back in November.

might be why they released the ad.

1. knowing that the commercial sucks so releasing early will create better buzz than running it on Super Bowl sunday where it will get lost

and

2. to get feedback (knowing it will be bad) on Kate Upton

could be her agents trying to get her motivated

I didn't care for it either. Horribly trite and cheesy, but no self-awareness of as much. None let on, anyway. Major ad fail for Mercedes.
