QUOTE magnafides. "I think you misunderstood. That was a quote from Wes Welker's wife, not the poster."
My deepest apologies. I was most mistaken.

The bleacher report has the 49ers "Fizzling" in the big game. They have the Ravens predicted to win too.

Seems plausible. The Ravens physically beat down the Niners the last time they played.

Keep that sophomoric crap off these threads, thanks.
And regarding the murder charges from years ago: there are multiple stories about what possibly happened that night and none of the posters on this board were actually there, I'm assuming. Therefore you do not know what happened; assumptions based upon your personal biases are of no objective value here.

Being covered in blood does not mean that you murdered someone.

Why hide the suit if you weren't involved. Why pay off both families instead of a civil trial?
Everytime he says "God" I cringe. Hopefully, things will be settled in the afterlife.

I can think of a number of reasons apart from culpability.

I predict I don't care at all about this year's super bowl. Ray Lewis sucks. I know this from working for years with a pretty young lady who went to Kathleen with him. He is almost as fake as Manti Teo's girlfriend. Double murder, lied to the cops, testified against his homies, got away with it, paid off both victim's families, has 6 kids with 4 baby mamas. Not a role model. Fake Christian.

Sorry...still not buying what you and Ray are selling. I never would have thought I would rather Moss win a Super Bowl than anyone.

Either way, I think Flacco will out perform Kaepernick.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but "guilty until proven innocent" is not what the US judicial system offers. If you desire a society that fosters this belief, emmigration is always an option.
As for the game, I don't foster any hatred towards players, because I know they are only there for my entertainment, period (i.e. not to be role models, Tim Tebow is the exception, not the rule). If I had to pick a Harbaugh to root for, I'd say that Jim's antics and demeanor are abrasive, so I'd lean towards rooting for John. Flacco has been a bit too boastful about his eliteness, yet has backed it up this season. I have enjoyed watching Kaepernick since his Nevada days, but some of his postplay actions have been childish. For all the Ray Lewis haters, all you need to point to is the fact that he will only be the 3rd best MLB on the field next Sunday. For everyone who says they don't care about this game, puh-leease. The two offenses have established OL/run-games and above-average passing games (with both strong armed risk taking QBs, uhh yes please). Both defenses are highly creative and good-tackling units. If you voluntarily don't watch this game, you are missing out, and I feel sorry for you.
My prediction (and only that): Ravens 24 -- 49'ers 19
Why:
-the Ravens held a better offense (NE at Gillette) to 13pts.
-the Ravens offense with a steady Ray Rice, good TEs and Joe Flacco throwing up 60yd jump balls (which btw are seemingly very low risk) seems like a very balanced unit.
-the 49'ers defense for as stout as it is, the weak point is the secondary
-Kaepernick will keep 49'ers in the game, but Ravens DC/scheme will present more resistance than the Falcons.
Knowing I have stated the preceding, the score will probably end up 35-17 49ers.
Either way I'll be watching, and if anyone finds link to a good (relevant) SB drinking game, post the link please.

True. But if someone is murdered while you're nearby and you're covered in blood you'll be the prime suspect until a better one comes along.
I don't have anything against Ray Lewis. I realize that we don't know all the facts and he isn't necessarily guilty of murder. But I also don't see a lot of reason to be standing up for him.
Getting back OT, I predict a Ravens win. They seem to have a tad more "want it" than the Niners. Which is good news for the Niners, I have almost a perfect record of predicting that the eventual loser will be the winner.

You mean other than the jury verdict and his completely understandable concerns about the benevolence of law enforcement, combined with the 13 years of good works and evident personal transformation accomplished after this incident?
