I have a problem with both parties and their inane attacks on each other. It is detrimental to the country and its ability to get anything done.
As I have said on more than one occasion, if we ran our law firm [which was formed 31 years ago] like Congress acts [actually, fails to act], we would have filed bankruptcy 25 years ago.
What other business owes a large multiple of its revenue and survives?
The question is why the Congressional members of different parties let someone else tell them what to do, what to think, and how to vote? If this is how they are going to act, you could pick anyone with half a brain and get them to aimlessly follow directions and fight the other members rather than agree on anything.
The iPad was invented before the Senate last adopted a budget. How many businesses and households are so dumb, so lazy and so hell bent on never having a budget and never reaching a compromise? Show me such a business, and it is bankrupt. Show much such a family, and it is likely to result in divorce and sad children.
We have seen the enemy and it is the other party.
